Dear all,
I am pleased to announce that I am recruiting a postdoctoral researcher in applied algebraic topology with applications to broad biological systems at the MPI-CBG in Dresden. This position offers the opportunity to conduct independent research while collaborating closely with our mathematics, network analysis, and biology groups across the institute.
In addition to these collaborations, particularly with the applied mathematics groups of Heather Harrington, Türkü Özlüm Çelik, Aida Maraj, and Carl Modes, the position also provides the chance to engage in a broader collaboration network, connecting with the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences in Leipzig and the Centre for Topological Data Analysis of the University of Oxford, as well as with the geometry and topology groups at TU Dresden (e.g., Ulrich Krähmer’s group, Andreas Thom’s group).
The application deadline for this position is 16 November 2025, with a flexible start date in 2026. All terms, funding information, and additional details are available in the advertisement attached or on the application site:
